Quacket Creek Emergency Culvert Replacement

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This contract includes the emergency removal and replacement of a new 34-foot culvert located on Main Road over Quacket Creek. This project involved dewatering, demolition, structural excavation, and the replacement of the existing culvert with a new precast box culvert. The contract allowed for one temporary weekend closure. The closure was permitted beginning Friday at 9 P.M. All work was required to be complete and the roadway open to live traffic on or before Monday at 5 A.M.
