PROJECT OVERVIEW

Remove and replace King’s Factory Bridge in the town of Richmond. Work included bridge demolition, dewatering, support of excavation, installation of micropiles, new cast in place substructure, wingwalls, and a bridge deck consisting of prefabricated bridge units (PBUs). This project was completed using accelerated bridge construction (ABC) methods. The entire bridge was removed and replaced in less than four months.
