Overview: Shepard Pond Dam located in the Town of Canton, Massachusetts, originally constructed in 1880 to power a nearby mill, was structurally unsafe. John Rocchio Corporation was awarded a contract to remove and replace the entire structure.

Work: The work consisted of the removal of the existing mortared boulder buttress dam and construction of a new dam including a concrete labyrinth weir spillway, low level still basin and retaining walls.
